On the TV screen, the firmware version number looks like this: "Software Version M07.R.0631 " - if the version number is M07.R.0631 or higher, you already have the most recent firmware version. Highlight System Information and select ENTER. The update might not succeed if "ON" is selected. Highlight Quick Start Mode, and confirm that is set to OFF. At the XrossMediaBar TM, highlight Setup > System Settings then select ENTER using the arrow keys on the remote control.
